Rib knit, so it stretches and settles back.The ribs open when you pull it around your neck and close again once it is on. On a coat front the two ends lie flat, side by side.
160 by 25 cm. One loop, with length to spare.Long enough to go around once and leave both ends hanging down the front of a coat. The width fills the open V of a collar.
It will pill a little, and we would rather say so.Wool and cashmere shed some loose fiber in the first wears and pill where a coat rubs. A cashmere comb lifts it off.
