Hand wash in cold water only — no wringing, no twisting. Cashmere fibers are strongest when treated gently. Lay flat on a towel to dry, reshaping while damp. Pilling will happen, especially where your palms meet keyboards and phone screens — that's friction doing what friction does to real fiber. A cashmere comb removes pills in a few slow strokes without damaging the knit. Between wears, let them rest a day. Cashmere has memory — the fibers need time to spring back to shape, the way muscles do after a long walk.
