Dry clean recommended — hand washing 200 grams of wet wool risks stretching the fibers permanently. Between cleanings, hang it outside on a dry day to let the wind do what wind does: carry away city smell and reset the wool. Store folded loosely, never hanging for extended periods — gravity and weight will slowly pull the shape out of it. If the area that rests against a chair back begins to pill from friction, remove the pills gently with a fabric comb. The surface underneath will be smoother than it started.
