The largest accessories edit in the store. Mulberry silk squares and hand-rolled twillies sized for the collarbone, reversible silk-wool squares for in-between weather, lambswool and wool scarves for crosstown wind, a featherweight cashmere stole, and Alashan cashmere-blend knit collars dense enough for January. The silk is woven in Suzhou and the cashmere comes from Inner Mongolia.

A scarf is the most-used accessory in a year. Silk works for warm-to-mild weather and styles close to the throat — a 65cm square knots flat, an 85cm square drapes the shoulders, a twilly threads through hair, belt loops, and bag handles. Wool and cashmere take over when the temperature drops. We pick weights and sizes by use case: lighter silk for the office, silk-wool for in-between days, knit cashmere for the deep cold.
