66cm works as a single-loop neck wrap or shawl-let drape, but if you wanted to double-wrap snugly it's a touch short. I prefer single-loop on this size anyway.

The gauze weave makes this feel lighter than my regular 16mm twills. Not a flaw — gauze is meant to be airier — but worth noting if you expected the heavier hand of standard 16mm.
Good observation — huā luó gauze weave is loftier than standard twill at the same momme. Different texture, same silk content.

Strange context for a scarf review but here we are. I bought this scarf in late January during the worst week of my divorce. I needed something gentle and pretty that wasn't dramatic and didn't remind me of who I used to be. The soft coral roses against the cream are exactly that. I've worn it most days since. It catches light in a way that makes me want to put on real clothes instead of staying in pajamas. The texture of the weave is unusual — kind of a gauze, you can see through it slightly — and the print sits on top in a layered way. Silly to say, but the act of tying a pretty silk scarf around my neck has been one of the small things that made March bearable. So thank you. I think I'll order the matching twilly when I'm in a better month.
