the shape reminds me of the doctor bags my grandmother had. it stays upright on my dresser, doesnt slump. the finish already has a couple of marks from my rings and they rubbed right out with my thumb like the care card said. sunglasses live in the snap pouch.

Espresso is way darker in person, proper strong coffee brown, not tan. Came stuffed with paper and stood up straight out of the box. Straps are slim but fine over a coat. It does pick up fingerprints alot, they wipe off. Earbuds live in the snap pouch now. Feels like a proper bag for the money.

Lovely bag, holds its shape even half empty. But the opening is narrow, my chunky wallet takes some wiggling. Switched to a card holder, sorted. Grab it most days.

Lives on my desk, stands up on its own next to my laptop which i like. Only gripe is the weight, its a bit heavy even empty so with a water bottle in you feel it by the end of the commute. Would definately buy again, just not on laptop days.

the caramel has a bit of a marbled look to the finish up close which i didnt expect but i actually like it. fits my kindle lying flat.

bought it for the little snap pouch lol. keep my contacts case and lip stuff in there and unsnap it when i go out with just my phone. espresso is a deep reddish brown in real life, darker than my screen showed. it stands up on my bathroom counter by itself which sounds dumb to care about and yet here we are.

cute bag but the front pouch pops open every time it knocks into something. lost a hair clip on the train. one snap on an outside pouch is not enough, period. took it off and now the front looks bare so either way im annoyed. meh.
Hi Dee, sorry, that is annoying and you are right that one snap on the outside will catch. The pouch is made to come off so it can travel on its own, but that is no help when it opens on a train. Most people end up keeping it inside the main compartment as a catch-all, which keeps it shut. If you'd rather not keep the bag, email us and we'll take it back. - Helia

Fingerprints and scuff lines within an hour of taking it out of the box. I know the finish is meant to show wear but this is a lot. They rub out mostly, then come straight back. If you like your bags neat like i do, this is not it. Expected more for the price, going back in the box.

I go through a lot of bags for work and this one stuck. The belt over the zip felt like a gimmick at first, now i do it up without thinking. Straps are thin so no laptop. Phone wallet paperback, thats the sweet spot. Stands up on the train floor without tipping over. Only thing id change is a wider opening.

Straps are too thin for what this costs. Wallet, keys and a water bottle and they dig into my shoulder within ten minutes. Ended up carrying it in my hand which defeats the point of a shoulder bag. Espresso colour is nice, the little pouch is nice, but i wouldnt pay this again for something i can't actually wear. Probably going back in the box.
