Care
This is natural raffia, so every strand differs — slight unevenness in color and the occasional loose end or wisp are normal, not flaws. Raffia is naturally a little fuzzy; it's trimmed before shipping, and you can trim any stray ends yourself with scissors. Keep it dry, avoid crushing it flat, and let it air out if it gets damp so it keeps its shape.

better than my old vacation tote

I bought it for a coastal trip and ended up carrying it at home too. It has that relaxed straw look but still feels tidy enough with a plain dress or jeans. I was worried it would scratch my arm, but the edge has been fine so far. It also stands up better in the car than my soft canvas tote, which matters when half my life is snacks and receipts. The opening is easy to reach into and the brown straps make it feel less like a beach-only bag.

Strap runs long

The bag is pretty and the straw part is nicer than I expected, but the strap drop is long on me. Im 5'2 and it sits lower than I like when there is anything heavy inside. Keeping it for beach days, just not my everyday errands bag.
