Hand wash cold with cashmere detergent or machine wash gentle in a mesh bag. Lay flat to dry. Light pilling in the first few wears is normal -- a cashmere comb removes it in seconds. After that, the fiber settles.

Late autumn, the air sharp enough to sting. You step outside -- coffee in hand, breath visible -- and the cold finds the tops of your ears first. It always does. You pull something on, and instead of relief, you get that familiar wool prickle against your forehead.
