It is a bit roomier than I expected. I can fit my wallet, keys, small sunglasses case and a lip balm without fighting it. The opening is not huge, so I would not use it for a big makeup pouch.

The strap did not dig into my shoulder, even after a few hours outside. I was worried the real leather would feel heavy for summer, but it was fine with a sleeveless top.
